Managed Website Plans — what's included, what's not
Managed vs Care: Managed = we build it and look after it, you pay monthly, €0 to start. Care = you already have a site, we just maintain it. Same maintenance rules, different starting point. If you want to own the code outright, take the one-off "own it outright" Build instead — see below.
The simple rule (identical to our Care plans)
The maintenance scope rule is exactly the one on our Care Plans page — we do not restate it differently here, on purpose:
Edits to existing content = included, up to your tier's monthly time budget. New design/build work = quoted at €60/hour, started only after you reply do it. We never bill silently — if a request would exceed your budget, we email you first.
What "Managed" adds on top of maintenance
- The build is included. You don't pay €695–€2,950 upfront for the site. We build it, then host + maintain it, for the monthly fee.
- €0 onboarding. Nothing to pay on signature. First month is billed when the site goes live.
- We host and keep the code for the term. Managed is a managed service — the source code stays with us while you're on the plan. You are not buying the code; you are buying a working, looked-after website. (Want the code in your own hands? - Minimum term, because the build is fronted at €0 (see each tier).

The per-tier inclusions, out-of-scope lists, worked examples and change-request rules are the same as the matching Care tier (Launch≈Essential, Business≈Growth, Premium≈Concierge) — see Care Plans. One scope definition, not two.
Premium "unlimited fair-use" — the only small print (identical to Concierge): "unlimited" means you stop counting. Soft cap = 6 hours/month on a rolling 90-day average, with an 8-hour single-month ceiling. Cross the soft cap two months running → a friendly conversation about whether you've outgrown the plan, not a bill.
Minimum term & cancelling
- The site is built at €0 upfront. The minimum term is simply how that build cost is recovered over time.
- Cancel before the minimum term: the remaining minimum-term monthly fees become payable in one final invoice. (No separate "kill fee" — there was no deposit to begin with.)
- After the minimum term: month-to-month. Cancel any time with 30 days' written notice to support@callmeie.ie. No auto-renew traps.
- On cancellation we provide a static export of your live site content within 7 days, and full data handling per the agreement. Managed plans do not include a source-code repo handover — that's the one-off Build offer.
Need a bigger change?
Same as Care: you don't upgrade your tier for a one-off. We quote it at €60/hr (€55/hr on Premium) — written quote within 1 business day, work starts after you reply do it. Email support@callmeie.ie.
