So your customers actually find you when they search.
We claim, fill and grow your Google Business Profile so you turn up in the Maps pack and the local 3-pack — not on page 4. Done by humans in Limerick. We don't do tricks, we don't promise top-3 in 30 days, and we won't lock you in. Just steady, careful work on the parts of search Google actually rewards.
What we actually mean by "local SEO".
Three things, and only three things. We do them carefully every month and we send you a one-page report so you can see what changed. If anyone tries to sell you "100 backlinks" or "guaranteed page 1" — show them the door. That's not what moves the needle for an Irish small business in 2026.
Google Business Profile
Your profile is the box that shows up beside the Map when someone searches "plumber Limerick" or "dentist near me". A complete, active profile beats an empty one every time.
- Claim and verify the listing
- Fill every field — categories, services, hours, attributes
- Weekly photos (real ones, your van, your shop, your team)
- 4–12 posts a month (offers, news, what's on)
- Monthly Q&A pass so we answer common questions before competitors do
Reviews engine
The single biggest local-search signal we can move. We hook into your AI Receptionist call data (or your booking system) so the moment a job is done, an SMS goes out asking the customer to leave a review.
- Automated SMS-after-job ask
- One link, one tap, lands on your Google review form
- Optional pre-filter: unhappy customers route to you privately first
- Monthly review-rate report so you can see what's working
- Honest by design — we never write fake reviews and we never bulk-flag bad ones
Local citations
Your name, address and phone (NAP) need to match across the directories Google checks. We sweep the dozen-or-so that move the needle for Irish SMBs and we keep them aligned every month.
- Yelp + Yelp Ireland
- TrustATrader.ie / RatedPeople (trades)
- Brownbook · Hotfrog · Cylex · Foursquare
- Tripadvisor (hospitality only)
- Industry-specific: Yell.ie, Goldenpages, Independent.ie business directory
- Apple Maps + Bing Places (small audience, same NAP)
What we don't promise.
Every Irish trades business has had a cold call from "an SEO agency in Dublin" promising "top 3 in 30 days, money back guarantee." It's nonsense, and it's usually how a profile ends up suspended. Here's what we will and won't say to you.
We won't say:
✗ "Top 3 in 30 days."
✗ "Guaranteed page-one ranking for [keyword]."
✗ "100 backlinks for €99 / link farm packages."
✗ "Buy 50 reviews from a Fiverr seller."
✗ "We have a Google insider."
None of those are real. The first three will hurt you. The middle ones can get your profile suspended. The last one is a lie.
We will say:
Google ranks local results on three things: proximity (where the searcher is), relevance (does your profile match what they typed), and prominence (reviews + citations + activity). We control different amounts of each.
- Profile completeness100%
- Posting cadence + photos100%
- Review ask delivery100%
- Citation consistency~30%
- What customers click on0%
- Review content quality0%
- Competitor moves0%
- Google's algorithm changes0%
Realistic shape, first 6 months on the Growth tier:
- Month 1Profile claimed and verified, every field filled, baseline screenshots saved. First batch of posts and photos live. Citation sweep starts. You won't see ranking changes yet — the work is below the surface.
- Month 2Reviews engine on. Profile views start to lift (Google tracks this in your insights). First small bump in "how customers found you" → Search → Direct.
- Month 3Typical first verifiable lift in profile-views and discovery searches. If your category isn't crowded, first Maps-pack appearances on long-tail queries (e.g. "emergency plumber Castletroy" not just "plumber Limerick").
- Months 4–6Maps-pack improvement on broader queries if competitor density allows. Review count compounding. Decision point: is this category winnable for you, or do we need a different approach (e.g. Google Ads alongside)?
- Month 6+Steady-state. We keep doing the work, you keep getting found. If month 6 hasn't moved the needle in a measurable way, we'll tell you straight and refund the last month — see FAQ.
One audit, three care tiers.
Start with the audit if you're not sure. It's a one-off €99, you get a 6-page report and a 30-min call walking through it, and if you sign on for any monthly tier we credit the full €99 toward your first month. So if it's not for you, you're out €99 for a real audit (cheaper than most "free" ones, which are sales pitches in disguise).
The Audit
GBP audit + competitor map of your top 3 local rivals + first-month roadmap with priorities. Delivered as a 6-page PDF and a 30-min call. Credited in full toward month 1 of any care tier.
Quiet, careful upkeep. For solo traders and small shops who want their profile minded properly without a song and dance.
- GBP claim + verify (first time only)

Quick maths against your other options.
Some clients have asked us "should I just hire someone in-house?" Worth doing the maths properly. A junior digital-marketing assistant in Ireland is loaded cost €2,400–3,000/mo by the time you add PRSI, holidays and software — and they'll need supervision. A freelance contractor sits in the middle. Growth tier sits at the bottom of the range, and the work is bundled with the rest of the studio.
Honest about the fit.
Local SEO works for businesses where customers physically search "[thing] near me" or "[thing] [town]". If that's not you, we'll say so and point you somewhere else.
Where local SEO + GBP earns its keep
- Trades — plumber, electrician, mechanic, motor factors, roofer, locksmith. The Maps pack is where the work comes from.
- Hospitality — restaurant, café, hotel, B&B. Reviews + photos + opening hours are make-or-break.
- Healthcare — dental, GP, physio, pharmacy. Trust signals matter; review-handling needs care (and we know the GDPR side).
- Professional services — solicitor, accountant, consultant. Lower volume, higher value per call. Profile completeness + reviews drive the inbound.
- Personal services — salon, barber, beautician, fitness. Photos and posts do heavy lifting.
Where local SEO is the wrong tool
- Pure e-commerce with no physical premises and no service area — your search game is national/international SEO + product feeds, not GBP.
- International SaaS — buyers don't search "near me". Different toolkit entirely.
- Wholesale-only B2B with under 50 known buyers — direct outreach beats discovery search.
- "I just want top of Google" with no specific search query in mind — we'll talk you through what's actually realistic before taking your money.
Six questions we get every week.
Can you guarantee top-3 placement?
No. And nobody else can either — anyone who does is either lying or about to get your profile suspended. Google's local algorithm uses proximity (where the searcher is standing), relevance (does your profile match what they typed), and prominence (reviews + citations + activity). We control the prominence levers. We do not control where your customers physically stand or what Google decides relevance means this month.
What we do guarantee: the work itself happens every month, on time, and you get a one-page report showing exactly what changed.
How long until I see results?
Per Google's own published guidance and what we see in practice: profile-view lift around month 2–3 (visible in your GBP insights tab — we screenshot it monthly), Maps-pack improvement around month 4–6 if your category density allows. Crowded categories (e.g. "plumber Limerick city" with 40+ verified competitors) take longer than less competitive ones (e.g. "tile fitter Castletroy"). We tell you upfront which side of that line you're on.
If 6 months of Growth tier hasn't moved your insights numbers in any measurable direction, we refund the most recent month and recommend either (a) Google Ads to compensate or (b) honestly, that local SEO isn't where your time and money should go.
What about reviews from upset customers?
We don't manipulate them. We don't bulk-flag legitimate negative reviews. We don't pay for reviews and we don't write them.
What we do: set up the SMS-after-job ask so the moment a happy customer's job is done, they get a one-tap link to leave a review. Most of them weren't going to bother on their own — they're happy, they just forget. The ask surfaces the silent majority. Bad reviews still happen and we'll help you reply professionally, which Google rewards.
If a review is fake or breaks Google's policy (slurs, off-topic, conflict of interest), we'll help you flag it through the proper channel. That's not the same as gaming the system.
Do you handle Google Ads too?
No. Different product, different skill set, and we'd rather do one thing properly than two things adequately.
If your category is too crowded for organic Maps-pack alone, you probably do need Ads alongside. We can recommend a specialist (we keep a short list of Irish PPC freelancers we trust) — or, honestly, a lot of small businesses are fine running their own Google Ads after a 1-hour walkthrough. We can do that as a one-off if it's useful.
Do you need access to my Google account?
Only the Google Business Profile listing itself, never your personal Google account. The transfer pattern is: you stay the primary owner of the listing, you add hello@callmeie.ie as a manager, we do the work, and the day you stop working with us you remove our access in 30 seconds. Your listing, your data, your call.
We never ask for passwords. We never log in as you. If anyone in the SEO industry asks you for your Google account password, walk away.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes — every monthly tier is month-to-month. No annual contract, no early-termination fee, cancel by emailing hello@callmeie.ie before your renewal date and you're done. The audit is a one-off you keep regardless.
The only "lock-in" is the 6-month no-progress refund on the Growth tier — that's a promise from us, not a commitment from you. If month 6 numbers haven't moved, we refund the last month. You're free to leave at any earlier point too.
