A new–patient exam covers a full soft–tissue check, two bitewing X–rays, a written treatment plan and, if nothing pressing is found, a hygiene appointment booked on the way out. You will leave with a printed plan and a cost for every line item on it.
We accept VHI, Laya Healthcare and Irish Life Health direct claims, and we complete PRSI Treatment Benefit forms at reception. Card payments over the counter. No dental finance, no “smile makeover” packages.
Your PPS number if you want us to claim your PRSI exam. Your insurance membership number if you have one. And the name and dose of any medication you take — we ask because bisphosphonates and anticoagulants change how we treat you.

We prefer composite bonding to veneers where the tooth allows it: less drilling, reversible, a fraction of the price. When porcelain is right, we work with a small ceramist in Dublin who shapes each unit by hand.
Dr. Conor Whelan is a Platinum Invisalign provider with 400+ finished cases. Initial iTero scan and planning are included in the treatment fee. We quote the total on consultation — no “from” price that quietly doubles.
Dr. Aoife Ní Dhálaigh places all our implants, using Straumann and Neodent systems. Every case starts with a CBCT scan on–site. Healing time of three to four months is built into the plan and the price — no surprise add–ons at the restorative stage.
Call before 10am on a weekday and we will see you that day, usually within three hours. The triage visit gets you out of pain and into a plan — definitive treatment may be booked for a longer appointment later in the week.
Dr. Priya Raghavan sees the children of the practice. PRSI–covered checkups are free for eligible children under the scheme. We don’t use bribery, we don’t stage the appointment with props — we let children sit in the chair, ask questions, and leave whenever they like on the first visit.

Aoife opened Rathborne Dental in 2014 after seven years in practices in Galway and south Dublin. She places every implant in the practice and leads on full–mouth rehabilitation cases.

The prices below are what you will be charged at reception. Insurance reimbursement, where applicable, is paid back to you or claimed directly by us — we will tell you which at the treatment–planning stage. Complex cases are always quoted individually before work begins.
